The theme of the evening was Beaufort Sings Broadway and we had secured the services of one of the biggest names from musical theatre in this country. Alfie Boe. Alfie was the star of the world famous Les Miserables, the show that the press destroyed but the public has taken to its heart.
Alfie was a true entertainer and the audience was sat with anticipation etched on each and every face. Alfie delivered , he hit the high notes with ease and noticed the highest not on the piano was slightly out which brought out the jovial side to his character. The huge event of the evening for Beaufort Male Choir and the Signature Show Choir was to perform the hit song from Les Mis , One More Day. This song could have been a complete disaster but in the TV terms it all went right on the night .Thank You Alfie for coming to Ebbw Vale and performing with Beaufort Male Choir.

The choir did songs old and new for this show. Everyone rehearsed a thousand times , on the night near perfection and this could be seen by the audience standing to applaud the end of the show.

The choir stalwart Margaret Davies was the accompanist for the evening, Margaret was in great form and as we all expect was at her professional best.
Richard Summers played his role in getting this evening off the ground and make it the complete success it was. Richard is the co founder of the Signature Show Choir and accompanies BMC on the keyboards.
Craig James, the musical director of Beaufort Male Choir , once again was the star of the show. Craig compered the evening with  ease , He has the knack of charming an audience. This is just one of his many talents. Craig is unique and we at Beaufort Male Choir are priviliged to have him as MD.
He sang a duet with Alfie Boe and much as Alfie is a West End Star , Craig James was equally as good and proved his musical ability without doubt.
